Here's my favorite DNA photo

This is the first DNA photo I found on flickr. I think it's my favorite.
All that shininess and promise! So much like life itself.
This photo was taken by Charles Jenks on 18 September 2005 and posted on flickr through biotron.

Same stuff
This one does the same but seems to be launched by scientists - so they offer to give your DNA or integrate it in artworks.

Beautiful DNA Art
I bought a lovely DNA art print off ebay - it's a generic print (they don't do your own DNA!) but who would ever know, plus it's much much cheaper!

There's other colors as well, this is the link to the website
Beautiful DNA Art with detailed info on the chromosome locations
I bought one of these styles of DNA Art from Genetic Designs at DNAartonline.com. I was going to get one of the other one's I saw online but they explain everything about the canvas. I am a Biology Major so I found it very interesting. Each band is a chromosome location. The columns that have double bands mean that one is inherited from your mother and one from your father. The columns that have a single band mean that the chromosomal location is the same weight which is possible that you inherited the same from your mother and father. They gave me a 10 page report explaining everything in detail, including which chromosome and a diagram of the chromosomal location. They also compare your DNA to over 250 populations worldwide and give you a realistic DNA World Map that shows current populations that share your traits. They have a set price for the canvas and all this extra stuff came with it. I also got a certificate of authenticity from their ISO certified lab and my DNA profile on a digital CD. I could not find any other DNA art company that was able to do all this and their price is unbeatable. This is something that I can keep and pass on to my kids someday. I really enjoyed their services!
